Alisia's adventures.
Alisia, my Sims 2 character, is pregnant!!! It’s so cool. Her fears are throwing up, having an ‘accident’, and passing out. At the moment, her tummy is about the same size as mine. And she passes gas and burps something chronic! Ewww. But hey, don’t we all? :o)Have I mentioned before that I would be freaked out by people rubbing my tummy? I’ve thought it, many times. Well anyway, I always thought that maybe it would start happening around the 6-month mark. No no no. It started the day that we made the announcement. Although I’m showing a little bit, I still look more pudgy than pregnant. But so many people have touched, rubbed and put their ear against my belly. It’s the strangest thing ever. But I’ve decided I’m going to get used to it. I’m not a physical touch person by nature (I had a huge problem with hugging until about a year ago), but I’m going to become one. I’ve made up my mind. I want to be all huggy and touchy-feely with my kid, so I might as well start practising now.
Meanwhile, more about the Sims – Alisia’s husband has a fear of being caught cheating! I am SO disappointed in him. I’m not letting him near that Isabella chick EVER AGAIN!
*UPDATE* Alisia had the baby! And he’s now a toddler. That’s what I get for writing on Friday and posting on Monday. :o) Oh, his name’s Joey. And he looks like he has a moustache, although I’m sure that’s just my imagination.
I started another song on Sunday morning! It was fully long. You know the song ‘Lord I Lift Your Name On High’? Well, we do it quite fast, but sometimes we start it slowly. So I sang the chorus to start it off, accompanied by the piano.
You came from heaven to earth
To show the way
From the earth to the cross
My debt to pay
From the cross to the grave
From the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
Woohoo! Thank You, God! You rock my world. :o)

I’m sorry to say this…. But ever since playing Sims 2 I have found it strange to hear the word woohoo, especially since now It’s takin on a whole new meaning. I’m sure you know what I mean.
Well I’m sad because my computer officially crashed yesterday and that means I’ve lost a whole week of Sims 2 playing. This include’s about 10 births…. 5 college graduations…. 2 marriages… 6 kids going to college. I so want to scream. So tonight I’m going to pray real hard that my computer will work for a small half an hour so that I can turn it on and back-up. Please God, please God…. I don’t want to lose it. Jason is coming tomoro night to fix it…I’m hoping he’ll know a good way to get it working momentarily so I can back up before he erases the whole dam thing and we re-format or do what ever we have to do. By the way….have you read our blog today…because I think I’ve posted atleast 3 times since you did…no pressure or anything…hehe…I’m just bored….hehe….hehe….I’m happy that you’re enjoying Sims 2. It means that it was a well thought of present.
Thanks Kristy, I'll be all weirded out about using 'woohoo' now! And that was one of my favourite words. :o)
Sims 2 was a marvellous present! I can't wait until Joey grows up, so I can take over his life. I think I'll make him have career goals or something. Or maybe I'll make a new person, and put them in Strangetown or that other place. I'm in Veronaville at the moment. It seems pretty normal. But I haven't invited the Capps and the Montys over at the same time yet. Maybe they'll fight! Yeah!
I really hope everything works out with your computer! Let me know how it goes.
